Group Therapy -
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
What Is Group Therapy -Intensive Outpatient?
Group Therapy, also known as Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is a program for kids, teens and adults to attend scheduled programming either in-person or virtually. IOP groups are 3 hours per day for 3 days per week. We recommend that patients spend 12 weeks in the program to achieve the most benefits possible.
Treatment will consist of a variety of methods, including individual therapy, therapeutic groups and various evidence based activities. In order to further enhance your care, we offer additional activities such as art therapy, yoga and meditation.
Intensive outpatient care is a great alternative to a partial hospitalization program and offers adequate structure for teens & young adults who might need more than a typical outpatient service provides.
Upon completing our program, patients can step down into our traditional individual therapy, where we continue monitoring progress and making sure you're continuing to do well after the intensive program.
